My brothers, I have told you what the Spirit has led me to say. So I know these things will happen.
The things written from the book will be very helpful to people. They will especially help our children, who are part of the House of Israel.
False Churches in the Last Days
In that day, churches will be built that do not follow the Lord. One will say: I am the Lord’s church. Another will say: I am the Lord’s church. Everyone who builds a church will say this, even if they do not follow the Lord. They will argue with each other. Their priests will argue with each other. They will teach from their own learning. They will say the Holy Spirit does not speak. They will say God has no power. They will say the Holy One of Israel has no power. They will tell people: Listen to us. Listen to our teachings. There is no God today. The Lord and Savior has done his work. He has given his power to people. Listen to what we teach. If they say the Lord did a miracle, do not believe it. Today he is not a God who does miracles. He has done his work.
False Teachings About Sin
Many will say: Eat, drink, and be happy. Tomorrow we die. Things will be fine for us. Many will say: Eat, drink, and be happy. But respect God. He will let you do a little wrong. Yes, lie a little. Trick others with your words. Set a trap for your neighbor. There is no harm in this. Do all these things, because tomorrow we die. If we are wrong, God will punish us a little. In the end, we will be saved in God’s kingdom.
Many will teach this way. They teach false, empty, and foolish ideas. They are proud. They try hard to hide their plans from the Lord. Their actions happen in the dark. The blood of God’s people will cry from the ground against them.
They have all gone the wrong way. They have become bad.
Pride and Corruption
Pride, false teachers, and false teachings have made their churches bad. Their churches are full of pride. They rob the poor to build fancy buildings. They rob the poor to buy fancy clothes. They hurt the kind people and the poor. They do this because they are proud.
They are stubborn and proud. Because of pride, sin, bad things, and sexual sins, they have all gone the wrong way. Only a few humble followers of Christ remain. But even they are led to make mistakes, because they are taught by people’s ideas.
The smart, the educated, and the rich are proud. Everyone who teaches false ideas and does sexual sins turns away from the Lord’s right path. Terrible things will happen to them, says the Lord God Almighty. They will be thrown down to hell. Terrible things will happen to those who hurt good people for nothing. They say what is good has no value. The day will come when the Lord God will visit the people of the earth. When they are completely full of sin, they will die.
But if the people of the earth stop doing wicked and bad things, they will not be destroyed, says the Lord of Hosts.
The Devil’s Kingdom Will Fall
But that great and terrible church, the evil church of all the earth, must fall to the ground. Its fall will be great. The Devil’s kingdom must shake. Those who belong to it must turn away from sin. If they do not, the Devil will grab them with his chains forever. They will become angry and die. On that day, the Devil will make people angry. He will stir them up to be angry at what is good.
Others he will calm down. He makes them feel safe in their sinful ways. They will say: Everything is fine in Zion. Yes, Zion is doing well. Everything is fine. The Devil tricks their souls. He leads them carefully down to hell.
Others he tricks by saying nice things. He tells them there is no hell. He says: I am not the Devil. There is no Devil. He whispers in their ears until he grabs them with his terrible chains. They cannot escape.
They are grabbed by death and hell. Death, hell, the Devil, and everyone caught with them must stand before God. They will be judged by what they have done. They must go to the place made for them. It is a lake of fire and burning rock. The pain never ends.
Warnings to Those Who Feel Safe
Terrible things will happen to those who feel safe in Zion. Terrible things will happen to those who say: Everything is fine. Terrible things will happen to those who listen to people’s teachings. They say God has no power. They say the Holy Spirit gives no gifts. Terrible things will happen to those who say: We have received enough. We need nothing more. Terrible things will happen to everyone who shakes with fear and gets angry about God’s truth. Those who are built on the rock receive it with joy. Those built on sand shake with fear. They are afraid they will fall. Terrible things will happen to those who say: We have received God’s word. We need no more of God’s word. We have enough.
Learning from God
The Lord God says: I will give people a little at a time. Bit by bit, I will teach them. Good things happen to those who listen to my teachings. They listen to my advice. They will learn wisdom. I will give more to those who receive. Those who say they have enough will lose even what they have.
Bad things happen to those who trust in people. Bad things happen to those who depend on human strength. Bad things happen to those who follow people’s teachings, unless those teachings come from the power of the Holy Spirit.
Terrible things will happen to the Gentiles, says the Lord God of Hosts. Even though I reach out to them every day, they will say no to me. But I will be kind to them, says the Lord God, if they stop sinning and come to me. My arms are open all day long, says the Lord God of Hosts.
