O the wise, and the learned, and the rich, that are puffed up in the pride of their hearts, and all they that preach false doctrines, and all they that commit whoredoms, and pervert the right way of the Lord; wo, wo, wo be unto them, saith the Lord God Almighty, for they shall be thrust down to hell.

Simple English

The smart, the educated, and the rich are proud. Everyone who teaches false ideas and does sexual sins turns away from the Lord’s right path. Terrible things will happen to them, says the Lord God Almighty. They will be thrown down to hell.

Paraphrase

Woe to the educated, the wealthy, the ones puffed up with pride! Woe to everyone who preaches lies, who lives immorally, who twists the Lord’s ways! Woe, woe, woe to them, says the Lord God Almighty—they’ll be thrown down to hell.
