2 Nephi 28:26

yea, wo be unto him that hearkeneth unto the precepts of men, and denieth the power of God and the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Terrible things will happen to those who listen to people’s teachings. They say God has no power. They say the Holy Spirit gives no gifts.

Woe to anyone who listens to human teachings and denies God’s power and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
