A Message to Those Who Don’t Believe
I also want to talk to those who don’t believe in Christ.
When the Lord comes back, will you believe then? That great day when the earth rolls up like a scroll? When everything melts from the heat? On that day you will stand before the Lamb of God. Will you still say there is no God? Will you still say Christ is not real when you see the Lamb of God? Do you think you can live with him when you feel bad about the wrong things you did? Do you think you could be happy living with that holy Being when you know you have broken his laws? I say to you that living with a holy and fair God would make you more sad than living with the people in hell. This is because you would feel how bad you are when you stand before him. When you see that you are not ready to stand before God, and you see God’s greatness and how holy Jesus Christ is, it will start a fire in you that never goes out. You who don’t believe, turn to the Lord! Call out to the Father in the name of Jesus. Maybe you will be found clean and pure. You will be made white by the blood of the Lamb on that great and last day.
God Still Does Miracles
I also want to talk to you who say that God doesn’t show us things anymore. You say there are no more messages from God. You say there are no more gifts from God. You say there is no more healing or speaking in tongues. I say to you that people who say these things don’t know the Gospel of Christ. They have not read the Scriptures. If they have read them, they don’t understand them. Don’t we read that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever? He never changes. If you have made up a god who does change, then you have made up a god who does not do miracles.
But I will show you a God of miracles. The God of Abraham and Isaac and Jacob. He is the same God who made the heavens and the earth and everything in them. He made Adam. Because of Adam came the fall of man. Because of the fall of man came Jesus Christ, the Father and the Son. Because of Jesus Christ came the saving of people. Because people are saved by Jesus Christ, they are brought back to the Lord. All people are saved because the death of Christ makes it so that everyone will come back to life. This brings them back from an endless sleep. All people will be woken up by the power of God. When the trumpet sounds, they will come. Both young and old. All will stand before God. They will be set free from this band of death, which is a death of the body. Then comes the time when the Holy One judges them. At that time the person who is bad will stay bad. The person who is good will stay good. The person who is happy will stay happy. The person who is not happy will stay not happy.
All of you who have made up a god who can do no miracles, I want to ask you this. Have all these things I talked about already happened? Has the end come yet? I say to you, no. God has not stopped being a God of miracles. Look at the things that God has done! They are amazing to us. Who can understand all the amazing works of God? Who will say it was not a miracle that by his word the heaven and the earth were made? By the power of his word, people were made from the dust of the earth. By the power of his word, miracles have been done. Who will say that Jesus Christ did not do many great miracles? Many great miracles were done by the hands of the apostles too. If there were miracles back then, why would God stop being a God of miracles? He never changes. I say to you, he does not change. If he did change, he would stop being God. But he does not stop being God. He is a God of miracles. The reason why he stops doing miracles among people is because they stop believing. They go the wrong way. They don’t know the God they should trust.
Jesus’ Promise to Believers
I say to you that whoever believes in Christ without any doubt can ask the Father in the name of Christ for anything. It will be given to them. This promise is for everyone, even to the ends of the earth.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, said this to his disciples who would stay. He also said it to all his disciples. The crowd heard it too. He said: 'Go into all the world. Preach the Gospel to every person.' 'The person who believes and is baptized will be saved. But the person who does not believe will be punished.' 'These signs will follow those who believe. In my name they will make bad spirits go away. They will speak in new languages. They will pick up snakes. If they drink any poison, it will not hurt them. They will put their hands on sick people, and the sick people will get better.' 'Whoever believes in my name without any doubt, to that person I will prove all my words are true. This goes even to the ends of the earth.'
Who can stand against the works of the Lord? Who can say his words are not true? Who will stand up against the great power of the Lord? Who will hate the works of the Lord? Who will hate the children of Christ? All of you who hate the works of the Lord, you will be amazed and then die.
Come to the Lord
Don’t hate these things, and don’t be too amazed. Listen to the words of the Lord. Ask the Father in the name of Jesus for the things you need. Don’t doubt. Believe. Begin as people did in the old days. Come to the Lord with all your heart. Work out your own saving with fear and respect before him. Be smart in the days of your test. Get rid of all your bad ways. When you ask for things, don’t ask so you can use them for bad things you want. Ask with a strong heart that will not give in to any test. Promise that you will serve the true and living God. Make sure you are not baptized when you should not be. Make sure you don’t take the bread and water of Christ when you should not. Do all things when you should. Do it in the name of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. If you do this and keep going until the end, you will not be sent away.
Words from the Dead
I speak to you as if I am speaking from the dead. I know that you will hear my words. Don’t say I am wrong because I am not perfect. Don’t say my father is wrong because he is not perfect. Don’t say that about those who wrote before him either. Instead, thank God that he has shown you that we are not perfect. This way you can learn to be smarter than we have been.
We have written this record in the letters that we call reformed Egyptian. We have changed it to match the way we speak. If our plates had been big enough, we would have written in Hebrew. But we have changed the Hebrew too. If we could have written in Hebrew, you would have had no mistakes in our record. But the Lord knows the things we have written. No other people know our language. Because no other people know our language, he has made a way for it to be changed into your language.
These things are written so that we can be clean from the blood of our brothers who have stopped believing. These things we have wanted for our brothers are in line with the prayers of all the holy people who have lived in this land. We want them to know Christ again. May the Lord Jesus Christ let their prayers be answered the way they believe. May God the Father remember the promise he made to the house of Israel. May he bless them forever through faith in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
