3 Nephi 30

Jesus commands Mormon to write directly to the Gentiles, calling them to hear his words. The Gentiles must turn from wickedness, repent, come to Christ, and be baptized to receive the Holy Ghost and be numbered with Israel.

Jesus Calls the Gentiles to Repent

Listen closely, all you Gentiles, and hear the words of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. He commanded me to speak to you. He told me to write this:

'Turn away from your corrupt ways. Stop your lying and cheating, your sexual sin and secret wickedness, your idolatry and murder. Stop your religious manipulation, your jealousy and constant fighting. Turn from all of it. Come to me. Be baptized in my name so your sins can be washed away and you can be filled with the Holy Spirit. Then you’ll be counted among my people, the house of Israel.'
