3 Nephi 30

Jesus commands Mormon to write directly to the Gentiles, calling them to hear his words. The Gentiles must turn from wickedness, repent, come to Christ, and be baptized to receive the Holy Ghost and be numbered with Israel.

Jesus’ Message to the Gentiles

Listen, you people who are not Jewish. Hear the words of Jesus Christ, the Son of the living God. He told me to speak to you about this. He told me to write this:

Turn away from your bad ways. Stop doing wrong things. Stop lying and tricking others. Stop doing sexual sins and secret bad things. Stop worshiping statues. Stop killing people. Stop using religion to get power and money. Stop being jealous and fighting with each other. Stop doing all these bad things. Come to me. Be baptized in my name. Then your sins will be forgiven. You will be filled with the Holy Spirit. You will become part of my people, the house of Israel.
