The Prayer for the Wine
This is how they blessed the wine. They took the cup and said: 'God, our eternal Father, we ask you in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ, to bless and set apart this wine for all who drink it. May they drink in remembrance of your Son’s blood, which he shed for them. And as they do, may they show you, eternal Father, that they will always remember him—so his Spirit can be with them.
