Mosiah 1:6

O my sons, I would that ye should remember that these sayings are true; and also, that these records are true. And behold, also the plates of Nephi, which contain the records and the sayings of our fathers, from the time they left Jerusalem, until now; and they are true; and we can know of their surety, because we have them before our eyes.

My sons, I want you to remember that these words are true. These records are also true. Also, the plates of Nephi have the records and words of our fathers from when they left Jerusalem until now. They are true. We know they are true because we can see them.

My sons, remember that what I’m telling you is true, and these records are true. Look at the plates of Nephi, which contain the records and words of our fathers from the time they left Jerusalem until now. They’re true, and we know it for certain because we can see them with our own eyes.
