Mosiah 1:7

And now, my sons, I would that ye should remember to search them diligently, that ye may profit thereby; and I would that ye should keep the commandments of God, that ye may prosper in the land, according to the promises which the Lord made unto our fathers.

My sons, I want you to remember to study them carefully so you can learn from them. I want you to follow God’s commands so you will do well in the land. This is what the Lord promised our fathers.

“So study them carefully and learn from them. Keep God’s commandments so you can thrive in this land, just as the Lord promised our fathers.
