Ether 1:35

And it came to pass that the brother of Jared did cry unto the Lord, and the Lord had compassion upon Jared; therefore he did not confound the language of Jared; and Jared and his brother were not confounded.

Jared’s brother prayed to the Lord. The Lord cared about Jared. So he didn’t mix up Jared’s language. Jared and his brother could still understand each other.

So Jared’s brother prayed, and the Lord had compassion on Jared. He didn’t confuse the language of Jared or his brother.
