They were commanded by Ammoron to maintain those cities which they had taken. And thus ended the twenty and sixth year. And in the commencement of the twenty and seventh year, we had prepared our city and ourselves for defence.

Ammoron told them to keep the cities they had taken. That’s how the 26th year ended. At the start of the 27th year, we got our city and ourselves ready to fight.

“Ammoron commanded them to hold the cities they’d already taken. That’s how the twenty-sixth year ended. At the start of the twenty-seventh year, we’d prepared both our city and ourselves for defense.”
