But great is the promises of the Lord unto they which are upon the isles of the sea; wherefore, as it sayeth isles, there must needs be more than this; and they are inhabited also by our brethren.

Simple English

The Lord has made great promises to those on the islands of the sea. Since it says islands, there must be more than just this one. Our brothers live on those islands too.

Paraphrase

But the Lord’s promises to those on the islands of the sea are great. Since Scripture talks about islands, there must be more than just this one—and they’re inhabited by our relatives too.
