2 Nephi 10:20

And now, my beloved brethren, seeing that our merciful God hath given us so great knowledge concerning these things, let us remember him, and lay aside our sins, and not hang down our heads, for we are not cast off; nevertheless, we have been driven out of the land of our inheritance; but we have been led to a better land: for the Lord hath made the sea our path, and we are upon an isle of the sea.

My dear brothers, our kind God has given us so much knowledge about these things. Let’s remember him. Let’s stop sinning and not be sad. We have not been rejected. We were forced to leave our homeland. But we came to a better land. The Lord made the sea our path. We are on an island in the sea.

Now, my dear friends, our merciful God has given us this incredible knowledge. Let’s remember him and let go of our sins. Don’t lose heart—we haven’t been abandoned. Sure, we’ve been driven from our homeland, but we’ve been led to something better. The Lord made the sea our path, and now we’re on an island.
