Simple English

But after other nations take care of them, the Lord will lift up his hand to those nations. He will make them a sign. Their children will be carried in their arms and on their shoulders. These things that are talked about are earthly things. This is God’s promise to our fathers. It means us in the future and all our brothers from Israel.

Paraphrase

“But here’s what happens next. After the Gentiles care for them—when the Lord raises up the Gentiles as a banner, and Israel’s children are carried in their arms and on their shoulders—these prophecies will come true in real, physical ways. This is the promise the Lord made to our ancestors. It’s about us in the future, and about all our relatives in the house of Israel.”
