1 Nephi 22:5

And since that they have been led away, these things have been prophesied concerning them, and also concerning all they which shall hereafter be scattered and be confounded, because of the Holy One of Israel: for against him will they harden their hearts; wherefore, they shall be scattered among all nations, and shall be hated by all men.

Since they were taken away, prophets told what would happen to them. They also told what would happen to all who would be scattered and confused because they reject the Holy One of Israel. They will harden their hearts against him. So they will be scattered among all nations and hated by everyone.

“Since they were scattered, these prophecies have been about them—and about everyone else who will be scattered and confused in the future. Why? Because they’ll harden their hearts against the Holy One of Israel. That’s why they’ll be spread among all nations and hated everywhere.”
