1 Nephi 19:5

And an account of my making these plates shall be given hereafter; and then, behold, I proceed according to that which I have spoken; and this I do, that the more sacred things may be kept for the knowledge of my people.

I will tell the story of how I made these plates later. Right now I will do what I said I would do. I am doing this so the most sacred things can be kept for my people to learn.

I’ll explain later how I made these plates. For now, I’ll continue with what I was saying, so the most sacred things can be preserved for my people’s knowledge.
