1 Nephi 18:24

And it came to pass that we did begin to till the earth, and we began to plant seeds; yea, we did put all our seeds into the earth, which we had brought from the land of Jerusalem. And it came to pass that they did grow exceedingly; wherefore, we were blessed in abundance.

We began to work the ground and plant seeds. We planted all our seeds in the earth that we had brought from Jerusalem. They grew very well. So we were blessed with plenty of food.

We started farming right away, planting all the seeds we’d brought from Jerusalem. They grew incredibly well—we were blessed with an abundant harvest.
