And they discovered a people, which was called the people of Zarahemla. Now, there was great rejoicing among the people of Zarahemla; and also, Zarahemla did rejoice exceedingly, because that the Lord had sent the people of Mosiah with the plates of brass which contained the record of the Jews.

"Strange as it may seem, the people of Zarahemla had also been in the New World for almost the same length of time as the Nephites but had not come in contact with them before... The had been led to the New World by Mulek, reported to be a son of Zedekiah. However, the Bible informs us that all of Zedekiah's sons were killed in front of him (Jeremiah 39:6).
