Mosiah 9:10

Now, it was the cunning and the craftiness of king Laman, to bring my people into bondage, that he yielded up the land, that we might possess it.

King Laman was tricky and sneaky. He wanted to make my people slaves. That’s why he let us have the land.

But King Laman had been cunning and deceitful. He gave us the land as part of his scheme to enslave us.
