Mosiah 29:9

And if my son should turn again to his pride and vain things, he would recall the things which he had said, and claim his right to the kingdom, which would cause him and also this people to commit much sin.

If my son returns to his pride and empty things, he would take back what he said. He would demand his right to the kingdom. This would cause him and our people to sin.

And if my son changes his mind later—if pride takes over—he might take back what he said and demand the kingdom. That would cause him and all of you to fall into serious sin.
