Mosiah 26:5

And now in the reign of Mosiah, they were not half so numerous as the people of God; but because of the dissentions among the brethren, they became more numerous.

When Mosiah was king, there were not even half as many of them as God’s people. But because of fights in the church, more people joined them.

During Mosiah’s reign, there weren’t as many unbelievers as believers. But when church members started leaving the faith, the unbelievers grew in number.
