Mosiah 26:4

And they would not be baptized; neither would they join the church. And they were a separate people as to their faith, and remained so ever after, even in their carnal and sinful state: for they would not call upon the Lord their God.—

They would not be baptized. They would not join the church. They were separate from others in what they believed. They stayed that way. They lived sinful lives. They would not pray to God.

They refused to be baptized. They wouldn’t join the church. They stayed separate in their faith—or lack of it—and stayed that way, living selfish, sinful lives. They wouldn’t call on the Lord their God.
