Mosiah 25:3

and there were not so many of the people of Nephi and of the people of Zarahemla as there was of the Lamanites; yea, they were not half so numerous.

Together, the people of Nephi and Zarahemla were still less than the Lamanites. They were not even half as many.

And both groups combined still didn’t match the Lamanites in number. The Lamanites had more than twice as many people.
