Now Abinadi saith unto him: I say unto you, I will not recall the words which I have spoken unto you concerning this people, for they are true; and that ye may know of their surety, I have suffered myself that I have fallen into your hands.

Simple English

Abinadi said to him: “I will not take back what I said about your people. My words are true. So you can know they are true, I have let myself be caught by you.”

Paraphrase

Abinadi answered, “I won’t take back a word I’ve spoken about your people. Everything I said is true. And to prove it, I let myself fall into your hands.”
