But behold, my beloved brethren, I judge better things of you, for I judge that ye have faith in Christ, because of your meekness: for if ye have not faith in him, then ye are not fit to be numbered among the people of his church.

Simple English

But I think better things about you. I think you have faith in Christ because you are humble. If you don’t have faith in him, you don’t belong to his church.

Paraphrase

“But I believe better things about you. I believe you have faith in Christ, because I’ve seen your humility. If you didn’t have faith in him, you wouldn’t belong among his people.”
