Moroni 7:38

for no man can be saved, according to the words of Christ, save they shall have faith in his name; wherefore, if these things have ceased, then has faith ceased also; and awful is the state of man: for they are as though there had been no redemption made.

No one can be saved without faith in Christ’s name. That’s what Christ said. So if these things have stopped, then faith has also stopped. The state of people would be terrible. It would be as if Christ never saved anyone.

No one can be saved, according to Christ’s own words, unless they have faith in his name. So if these things have stopped, then faith has stopped too—and how awful that would be. We’d be as if we’d never been saved at all.“
