Mormon 8:40

Yea, why do ye build up your secret abominations to get gain, and cause that widows should mourn before the Lord, and also orphans to mourn before the Lord; and also the blood of their fathers and their husbands to cry unto the Lord from the ground, for vengeance upon your heads?

Why do you do evil things in secret to get money? You make widows and orphans cry to the Lord. Their fathers and husbands were killed. Their blood cries to the Lord from the ground. It cries for God to punish you.

Why do you build up your secret evil schemes to get rich, making widows and orphans cry out to the Lord? Their husbands’ and fathers’ blood cries from the ground for vengeance against you.
