Mormon 8:38

O ye pollutions, ye hypocrites, ye teachers, which sell yourselves for that which will canker, why have ye polluted the holy church of God? Why are ye ashamed to take upon you the name of Christ? Why do ye not think that greater is the value of an endless happiness, than that misery which never dies, because of the praise of the world?

You teachers are not true to God! You sell yourselves for things that will rot away. Why have you made God’s holy church dirty? Why are you ashamed to be called by Christ’s name? Why don’t you see that happiness that lasts forever is better than suffering that never ends? Don’t you care more about what people think of you?

You corrupt hypocrites! You teachers who sell out for things that will rot away! Why have you polluted God’s holy church? Why are you ashamed to be called Christians? Why don’t you realize that endless happiness is worth more than endless misery—all because you care more about what people think of you?
