Simple English

My men were cut down. The ten thousand who were with me were killed. I was wounded and fell in the middle of the battle. But they passed by me and did not kill me.

Paraphrase

My warriors were cut down. All ten thousand who fought under my command fell. I was wounded and collapsed, but somehow they passed me by without finishing me off.
