Jacob 4:12

And now, beloved, marvel not that I tell you these things; for why not speak of the atonement of Christ, and attain to a perfect knowledge of him, as to attain to the knowledge of a resurrection and the world to come?

Dear friends, don’t be surprised that I tell you these things. Why shouldn’t I speak about Christ’s sacrifice? Why not learn perfectly about him? Why not learn about the resurrection and the world to come?

Don’t be surprised that I’m telling you these things. Why shouldn’t we talk about Christ’s atonement and gain perfect knowledge of him? It’s just as important as knowing about the resurrection and the world to come.
