Jacob 3:6

And now this commandment they observe to keep; wherefore, because of this observance in keeping this commandment, the Lord God will not destroy them, but will be merciful unto them; and one day they shall become a blessed people.

They keep this commandment. Because they obey it, the Lord God will not destroy them. He will be kind to them. One day they will become a blessed people.

And they’ve kept that commandment. Because they have, the Lord won’t destroy them. He’ll show them mercy. One day they’ll be blessed.
