Jacob 2:8

and it supposeth me that they have come up hither to hear the pleasing word of God, yea, the word which healeth the wounded soul.

I think they came here to hear God’s good words. Words that heal hurt souls.

I imagine they came here hoping to hear something uplifting—words from God that heal wounded souls.
