And now my brethren, I have spoken unto you concerning pride; and those of you which have afflicted your neighbor, and persecuted him, because that ye were proud in your hearts, of the things which God hath given you, what say ye of it?

My brothers, I have talked to you about pride. Those who have hurt others because you were proud of what God gave you, what do you say?

Paraphrase

I’ve just talked to you about pride. Now, those of you who’ve hurt your neighbors and mistreated them because you’re proud of what God has given you—what do you have to say for yourselves?
