Helaman 15:9

And ye know also that they have buried their weapons of war, and they fear to take them up, lest by any means they shall sin; yea, ye can see that they fear to sin; for behold, they will suffer themselves that they be trodden down and slain by their enemies, and will not lift their swords against them; and this because of their faith in Christ.

You also know they have buried their weapons. They are afraid to pick them up. They don’t want to sin. You can see they are afraid to sin. They will let their enemies walk on them and kill them. They won’t fight back with swords. This is because they believe in Christ.

You know they’ve buried their weapons of war and are terrified to pick them up again, afraid they might sin. You can see how deeply they fear doing wrong. They’d rather let themselves be trampled and killed by their enemies than lift a sword against anyone. That’s how real their faith in Christ is.
