Helaman 15:3

yea, wo unto this people which are called the people of Nephi, except they shall repent when they shall see all those signs and wonders which shall be showed unto them; for behold, they have been a chosen people of the Lord; yea, the people of Nephi hath he loved, and also hath he chastened them; yea, in the days of their iniquities hath he chastened them, because he loveth them.

It will be terrible for these people called the Nephites! This is if they don’t change when they see all those signs and wonderful things. They have been the Lord’s chosen people. The Lord has loved the Nephites. He has taught them hard lessons. When they did wrong, he taught them lessons. He did this because he loves them.

Disaster is coming for you, the people of Nephi, if you don’t turn back when you see all the miraculous signs God will show you. You were chosen by the Lord. He loved the Nephites deeply, and because he loved you, he disciplined you when you strayed. He corrected you in your worst moments because he cared.
