Helaman 13:26

Behold ye are worse than they; for as the Lord liveth, if a prophet come among you, and declareth unto you the word of the Lord, which testifieth of your sins and iniquities, ye are angry with him, and cast him out, and seek all manner of ways to destroy him; yea, you will say that he is a false prophet, and that he is a sinner, and of the Devil, because he testifieth that your deeds are evil.

“You are worse than they were! As the Lord lives, if a prophet comes to you, he tells you the Lord’s word. He tells you about your sins and wrong things. You get angry with him. You throw him out. You try every way to destroy him. You will say he is a false prophet. You say he is a sinner and works for the devil. This is because he says your actions are evil.”

“You’re worse than they were. As the Lord lives, whenever a prophet comes and tells you the word of the Lord—calling out your sins—you get angry with him, throw him out, and look for ways to destroy him. You say he’s a false prophet, a sinner, from the Devil, because he says your actions are evil.”
