But behold, the power of God was with him, and they could not take him to cast him into prison: for he was taken by the spirit, and conveyed away out of the midst of them.

But God’s power was with him. They could not take him to prison. The Spirit took him and carried him away from them.

But God’s power was with him. They couldn’t touch him. The Spirit lifted him up and carried him away from the middle of the crowd.
