Ether 3:19

And because of the knowledge of this man, he could not be kept from beholding within the veil: and he saw the finger of Jesus, which, when he saw, he fell with fear: for he knew that it was the finger of the Lord; and he had faith no longer, for he knew, nothing doubting;

Because the man knew so much, he could see things that were hidden. He saw the finger of Jesus. When he saw it, he fell down because he was scared. He knew it was the Lord’s finger. He didn’t just believe anymore. He knew for sure.

Because of what he knew, he couldn’t be kept from seeing beyond the veil. When he saw the finger of Jesus, he fell down in fear—because he knew it was the Lord’s finger. His faith turned into something more—he knew, without any doubt.
