And the Lord spake unto Ether, and said unto him, Go forth. And he went forth, and beheld that the words of the Lord had all been fulfilled; and he finished his record; (and the hundredth part I have not written,) and he hid them in a manner that the people of Limhi did find them.

Simple English

The Lord spoke to Ether and said to him: “Go.” So he went and saw that everything the Lord said had come true. He finished his record. (I have not written even one hundredth of it.) He hid the records so that Limhi’s people would find them.

Paraphrase

The Lord spoke to Ether: “Go out now.” So Ether came out and saw that everything the Lord had said had come true. He finished his record (though I haven’t written even a hundredth part of it) and hid it where the people of Limhi would later find it.
