Ether 12:25

Thou hast also made our words powerful and great, even that we cannot write them; wherefore, when we write, we behold our weakness, and stumble because of the placing of our words; and I fear lest the Gentiles shall mock at our words.

“You have also made our words powerful and great. So great that we cannot write them. So when we write, we see our weakness. We stumble because of how we place our words. I am afraid the Gentiles will make fun of our words.”

“You’ve also made our spoken words powerful and magnificent—so much so that we can’t capture them in writing. When we try to write, we see how weak we are. We stumble over how to arrange our words. I’m afraid the Gentiles will mock what we’ve written.”
