Ether 12:24

and thou hast made us that we could write but little, because of the awkwardness of our hands. Behold, thou hast not made us mighty in writing like unto the brother of Jared, for thou madest him that the things which he wrote, were mighty even as thou art, unto the overpowering of man to read them.

“You have made us so we can write only a little because our hands are clumsy. You have not made us strong in writing like the brother of Jared. You made him so that the things he wrote were as powerful as you are. They were so powerful that people could hardly read them.”

“But we can barely write because our hands are so clumsy. You didn’t make us mighty writers like the brother of Jared. What he wrote was as powerful as you are—so overwhelming that people could barely read it.”
