And it came to pass that the brother of Jared did cry unto the Lord, and the Lord had compassion upon their friends, and their families also, that they were not confounded.

Jared’s brother prayed to the Lord. The Lord cared about their friends. He cared about their families too. So he didn’t mix up their language.

So Jared’s brother prayed again, and the Lord had compassion on their friends and their families. Their languages weren’t confounded.
