And now we know that because we are not of thy church, we know that thou hast no power over us; and thou hast delivered up the judgment seat unto Nephihah; therefore thou art not the Chief Judge over us.

Changes

Simple English

“We know that since we are not part of your church, you have no power over us. You gave up the judgment seat to Nephihah. So you are not our chief judge.”

Paraphrase

“We know that since we’re not part of your church, you have no authority over us. Besides, you gave up the judgment seat to Nephihah, so you’re not our chief judge anymore.”
