Alma 60:23

Do ye suppose that God will look upon you as guiltless, while ye sit still and behold these things? Behold I say unto you, Nay. Now I would that ye should remember that God hath said that The inward vessel shall be cleansed first, and then shall the outer vessel be cleansed also.

Do you think God will say you are not guilty while you sit still and watch these things? I say to you, no. You should remember that God has said: The inside of the cup must be cleaned first. Then the outside of the cup will be cleaned also.

Do you think God will let you off the hook while you sit back and watch all this happen? I’m telling you: no. Remember what God said: ‘The inside of the cup must be cleaned first. Then the outside will be clean too.’
