Alma 60:11

Behold, could ye suppose that ye could sit upon your thrones, and because of the exceeding goodness of God, ye could do nothing, and he would deliver you? Behold, if ye have supposed this, ye have supposed in vain.

Do you think you can just sit on your chairs and do nothing? Do you think God will save you just because he is good? If you think that, you are wrong.

Did you think you could just sit on your thrones and do nothing—and because God is so good, he would rescue you anyway? If that’s what you thought, you thought wrong.
