And now it came to pass that when the Lamanites saw that Antipus had received a greater strength to his army, they were compelled, by the orders of Ammoron, to not come against the city of Judea, or against us, to battle.

When the Lamanites saw that Antipus got more soldiers, Ammoron told them not to attack the city of Judea. He told them not to attack us.

“When the Lamanites saw that Antipus had received reinforcements, their leader Ammoron ordered them not to attack Judea or engage us in battle.”
