Alma 52:11

And he also said unto him, I would come unto you, but behold, the Lamanites are upon us in the borders of the land by the West Sea; and behold, I go against them, therefore I cannot come unto you.

Moroni also said to him: I would come to you. But the Lamanites are attacking us along the coast by the West Sea. I am going to fight them. So I cannot come to you.

He added, “I’d come to you, but the Lamanites are pressing us along the western seacoast. I’m heading there to fight them, so I can’t make it to you.”
