Alma 52:10

And Moroni also sent unto him, desiring him that he would be faithful in maintaining that quarter of the land, and that he would seek every opportunity to scourge the Lamanites in that quarter, as much as was in his power, that perhaps he might take again, by stratagem or some other way, those cities which had been taken out of their hands; and that he also would fortify and strengthen the cities round about, which had not fallen into the hands of the Lamanites.

Moroni also asked him to be faithful in protecting that part of the land. He wanted him to look for every chance to attack the Lamanites there as much as he could. Maybe he could take back those cities that had been captured. He could use a plan or some other way. He also wanted him to make the other cities stronger so they would not be captured.

Moroni also sent him a message asking him to stay faithful in defending that part of the land. He should watch for every opportunity to strike the Lamanites in that region as hard as he could—maybe he could recapture those lost cities through strategy or some other tactic. He should also fortify and strengthen the surrounding cities that hadn’t fallen to the Lamanites.
