Alma 42:26

And thus God bringeth about his great and eternal purposes, which was prepared from the foundation of the world. And thus cometh about the salvation and the redemption of men, and also their destruction and misery;

This is how God brings about his great and eternal plans. These were prepared from the beginning of the world. This is how people are saved and rescued. This is also how they are destroyed and made miserable.

This is how God accomplishes his great and eternal purposes, which were prepared from the world’s foundation. This brings about salvation and redemption for some, and destruction and misery for others.
