Alma 42:25

What, do ye suppose that mercy can rob justice? I say unto you, Nay; not one whit. If so, God would cease to be God.

Do you think mercy can steal from fairness? I tell you, no, not at all. If it could, God would stop being God.

Do you think mercy can cheat justice? I’m telling you, no—not even a little. If it could, God would cease to be God.
